IT (Computer Rooms)

IT is integral to most organisations these days, and system failure or data loss could be devastating. So it’s critical that data centres and server rooms are kept at the right temperature and humidity so they remain operational 24/7.

High density IT equipment uses so much electrical power that it raises the ambient temperature and could result in malfunction. We recommend an optimal temperature range of 20–25°C with humidity between 40–55% and a maximum dew point of 17°C. Is that right? Taken from American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

We can design and install air conditioning to meet the cooling demands of sensitive equipment, and maintain the right level of humidity to avoid dampness and static electricity. We can also monitor energy usage to help reduce your carbon footprint and drive down energy costs. And we can install back-up power, lighting and any other M&E requirements. In case of emergency, we offer speedy response times to get you back up and running as quickly as possible.

We have already installed air conditioning and monitored energy usage in many technical data centres, including major players such as Virgin Media and the Keysource corporate data company.
